Each day begins with one hour of free time. After which a delicious healthy breakfast will be waiting for you.

The day includes a one-and-a-half-hour watercolor and sketchbook workshop often after breakfast but sometimes we will explore the area, and paint the sunset.

Stobi was the biggest Roman city in Macedonia and later became the capital of the province of Macedonia Secunda, the urban, military, administrative, trading, and religious center of that region for the Roman and early Byzantine empires.

In your free time, you can relax in nature go for walks and explore the old history and sketch to your heart's content.

It's best to bring a pair of good walking shoes such as trainers, or hiking boots if you wish to go for long walks.

 Program 

Our program offers a blend of daily freestyle meditation, and art classes as well as plenty of free time to explore the beautiful surrounding villages, nature, winery, and exploring historical Stobi.

Check-in is available from 12 noon on the arrival day and check-out is by 12 noon the departure day.

 Food 

All our foods are fresh, healthy, and homemade based on a vegetarian and Mediterranean diet. Breakfast often includes fresh fruits, Macedonian yogurt or cereals, smoothies, and eggs. And fruit made with fresh fruits from our own gardens.

Lunch and dinner are self-catered, or you can order from the hotel menu.

• Winery Tourism is located in Rosoman and offers a garden and a terrace. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.The bed and breakfast is equipped with a flat-screen TV. The bed and breakfast offers bed linen, towels, and daily maid service.À la carte and continental breakfast options with local specialties, fresh pastries, and fruits are available daily at the bed and breakfast.

Seasonal Information High Season (June-August)The weather is generally very warm and dry mediterranean style. The island gets busier with tourists and summer holidays.

Weather Information The months of July and August are the typical summers, hot and dry.

Electricity And Outlets In Macedonia, the standard voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz.The power plugs and sockets are of type C and F. Both of these sockets also work with plug type E.

 Responsible Travel 

• Meals are commonly laid in the table center and shared. Always accept a drink offer as it's a show of goodwill. Don’t insist on paying if invited out; it insults your hosts.
• In restaurants and churches, avoid using a flash or photographing the main altar, which is considered taboo.
• At archaeological sites, you'll be stopped from using a tripod, as this marks you as a professional and thereby requires special permissions.
• If you visit churches, cover up with a shawl or long sleeves and a long skirt or trousers to show respect.

How To Get There (Flights, Airport Transfers, Buses, Trains) The nearest airport is Skopje International Airport (SKP), 59 km from Winery Tourism. From the airport, you will need a taxi which we can arrange for you for a fee of 50 euros. The drive to Stobi, Palikura is max 1 hour.Please note guests are responsible for making their own way to and from the retreat location, this is not included in the price.

Visa Stuff Generally not required for stays of up to 90 days; however, travelers from some nations may require a visa, so double-check with the North Macedonia embassy.

Travel Insurance Suggestions Travel insurance is always a good idea! Depending on the policy you go for, it could help with delayed, canceled or missed flights; theft or damage of belongings, and emergency healthcare.It's not the most glamorous part of planning a trip, but it means you can relax knowing that you'll be covered if anything happens

Vaccinations Requirements ​Specific travel vaccinations are not required for visitors to North Macedonia.
